Dalam pemrograman Visual Foxpro, kadang kita memerlukan sesuatu kontrol agar bisa lebih memudahkan user menjalankan program / aplikasi. Pada contoh ini saya mencoba ilustrasikan penggunaan kontrol combo box dalam Grid.

Buatlah sebuah form dan letakkan grid control ke dalam form. Dalam contoh ini, grid memiliki 3 kolom (header).

Letakkan sebuah kontrol combo box dan klik kanan -> Cut

Untuk menyembunyikan ikon partisi atau volume drive yang muncul di desktop ubuntu, dapat diatasi dengan cara :

Tekan Alt+F2 untuk memunculkan dialog Run -> Application. Ketik gconf-editor kemudian klik Run. Di sisi kiri panel, pilih apps -> nautilus -> desktop dan hilangkan tanda centang pada opsi volumes_visible.

Tutup aplikasi gconf-editor dan ikon partisi telah hilang dari desktop

Open terminal:

$sudo vim /etc/modules

Add the line to the end of the list :

Floppy

Save and close the file. Reboot

There is another way to format hard drive to ntfs in ubuntu. You can install gparted in terminal. By default, there is no option for ntfs format. You should install ntfsprogs package for it.

sudo apt-get install gparted ntfsprogs

After package installed, you can format hard drive to ntfs. Just go to System -> Administration - Partition Editor. You can see ntfs option has enabled for to do it.

Seperti diketahui, ada bug pada Gnome Network Manager di Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid). Bug ini menyebabkan setiap kali rebooting IP Address yang telah ditetap akan kembali lagi menjadi DHCP setup.
