Kasus ini terjadi setelah mengganti lan card. Vmware yang sudah terinstall tidak bisa lagi terhubung dengan network. Dalam kasus in ethernet sebelumnya terdeteksi “eth0” dan setelah diganti berubah menjadi “eth1“. Setelah googling dan akhirnya dapat info dari forum sebelah troubleshoot untuk masalah ini dengan command berikut ini :

vmnet-bridge -d /var/run/vmnet-bridge-0.pid /dev/vmnet0 eth1

Dan hasilnya VMware kembali normal lagi.

There are many way to clear CMOS, by reset a jumper or release batteray for 20-30 minutes. Here is another way to clear CMOS by debug program from computerhope.

Windows Genuine Notification application has release by Microsoft. It will check validity of Windows XP. If the copy of Windows XP is not genuine, not validated or illegal, the notification message will appear. Microsoft just have 2 option : Get Genuine or Resolve Later.  Resolve Later will bypass the notification but not permanent and randomly appear as balloon in system tray.

Just for informational and educational purpose only,  you can try this method. Just delete these files :

\WINDOWS\system32\WgaLogon.dll
\WINDOWS\system32\WgaTray.exe
\WINDOWS\system32\LegitCheckControl.dll

After deleted these files above, you must restart your computer and you will not see WGA Notification any more.

NB. You can boot with another OS ( like Linux Live CD for delete these files).

I am using Mandigo Theme. I want to change the header image but i can’t find it how. I also search in the internet but i can’t find it too. Finally, i try to do this :

• Open image with image editor i like
• resize image in 737 x 226
• save as head.jpg for first image
• resize image in 961 x 226
• save as head-1024.jpg for second image

Next, i copy head.jpg and head-1024.jpg into :  /public_html/wp-content/themes/mandigo/schemes/green/images (for example in green folder)

Also i  copy both of  the new image again into each color folder. And then i can see the header image already changed.

1. Click Start -> Run then type regedit in the text box and click the OK.
2. Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Microsoft.
3. Locate dan expand Windows -> CurrentVersion.
4. Expand the Explorer key and modify the remote computer settings
5. RemoteComputer -> NameSpace
6. There is two entries. One is “{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D}” to show printers shared on the remote machine and “{D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF},” to show remote scheduled tasks.
7. Delete key “{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D}” If only interested in shared files.
8. Restart and the changes will be in effect.
